when is the next tweet-up?
The next TenterTweep business Tweet-up will be at 10am on Friday 9th December. Venue: The Conservatory, The Vine Inn, High Street, Tenterden. We look forward to seeing you all there; bring a colleague and lots of business cards! No need to book and free to attend! Spread the word....Remember, this is a FREE business networking opportunity and is only as good as the people who attend!
"Nice meeting you at the Tweet-Up this morning. Nice and informal and with proper business people." Phil Rummery
"I've been to both the previous two events and enjoyed and found them both very useful. A good size turnout, a broad diversity of people and excellent and free flowing conversations" Paul Andrews
what is a tweet-up ?
Any old excuse for a chat, gathering, networking opportunity, drink and even a spot of food. Fundamentally, a Tweet-Up is an opportunity for business people who use Twitter to meet face-to-face. The idea is for us to meet informally once a month, chew the cud, share ideas and hopefully help each other as we all aim to make our business more successful. Tenterden already has a very active business community, and anything that helps bring together the disparate strands of our various activities must be a good thing!
You don't have to be on Twitter to come along, but I am sure we will soon convert you to the joys of using Social Media!
who is it for ?
In essence, the Tenterden Tweet-Ups are for businesses based in and around Tenterden who already have a presence on Twitter. It is always great to put a face to a Twitter name! That said, we welcome any business based in the area, and we can persuade you to keep in touch using Twitter thereafter. Tweet-Ups are free (see below!) networking opportunities, so do please come along and see for yourself. Bring along plenty of business cards, perhaps bring a friend or a colleague and just enjoy good business company in convivial surroundings.
how much is it ?
Tweet-Ups are free. There are no annual membership charges or anything like that. However, we do ask for either a contribution towards the cost of any refreshments (coffee, pastries etc) or, if we have a lunchtime get-together, then we all meet the cost of our own food.
